Duke the Dog needs a home
Duke is a 7-year old Terrier mix that was originally adopted from us when he was just a year old. He's a bit timid at first, but he warms up extremely quick and is a sweet and funny little guy! His owner was not able to care for him and was unsure about his insecurities when meeting new people. If a dog is insecure and you coddle them, they feel the need to protect you and think it is okay to be shy. He has been such a good boy since he's been back with us! He's had no problems in his foster home. We thought he'd be a project, but he's been a piece of cake!!! He greets all visitors with a welcome smile and happy-go-lucky personality. He lives with other dogs of all sizes and ages with no problem. He loves to run and chase the ball, but isn't interested in bring it back to you :-) He's about 15-20 pounds, knows how to sit, and give 5. If you are looking for a scruffy little man who is house trained (doesn't even mark in the house!), is great on leash, neutered, microchipped, and loves other dogs and people, this little guy is just waiting to go home with you! His adoption fee is $200.
